  • What are the check in and check out times?

    You can check into your room from 3pm, and check out is at 11am. We always try to fulfil special requests made at the time of booking, however no guarantees can be made.

    From the South: M1(J29) then take 2nd exit at roundabout onto A617. At next roundabout take 2nd exit then 1st exit at the next roundabout onto Markham Rd. At next roundabout take 2nd onto Wheatbridge Rd and bear left onto Chatsworth Rd. Continue along A619 for approx. 4.5 miles.

    From the North: M1(J29) then take the 5th exit at roundabout onto A617 then the same as above.

  • Where can I dine at the Highwayman Hotel?

    Guests can enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner, in our relaxed restaurant, which offers menus full of delicious dishes to suit all tastes. Al fresco dining is also available, and we can cater for parties of up to 30 guests.

  • What time is breakfast?

    Breakfast is served in our restaurant between 6.30am and 10.00am.

  • What time is lunch?

    All day dining is available from 12noon to 9pm.

  • What time is dinner?

    All day dining is available from 12noon to 9pm. The bar is open until 10pm (9pm Sundays).

  • Do you accommodate children?

    Children are welcome to stay and we offer family rooms that can accommodate up to two adults and two children. A children’s menu is available.

  • Can I use the Chatsworth Health & Fitness Club?

    We offer all guests access to our health and fitness club at Chatsworth. We have a wide range of treatments, classes and great facilities, including a 15m swimming pool and fully equipped gym. For more information, please contact us on 01246 383572.

  • Can dogs stay at the Highwayman?

    Unfortunately we’re unable to accept dogs at this time.

  • How long does it take to get to Chatsworth?

    It takes approximately 13 minutes (5 miles) to drive to Chatsworth House.
